Regardless of everything, we were ready to go and waited about ten minutes for the bills after the dishes were cleared as three new tables were now seated and eating, but despite being ready and waiting to pay our server kept passing us by. We even tried walking up to the front and she shooed us back to the table and said she would be right there.

Group service is excellent and this restaurant welcomes the opportunity to entertain. Thanks for a lovely and diverse lunch.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice right off the bat and there was an intruigining menu with many options. After ordering, it took 30-40 minutes for us to be served which I might not have minded given the price point of the menu indicated a higher quality to the dining experience, but when my boyfriend's entree arrived our server had given him the wrong side. I pointed this out to her and she offered no apology, but just frowned and looked annoyed as if I was bothering her by saying something about it. She shrugged and replied to him, "So did you want the other one then?" To which he said, "Yes please."

I was just astounded by the lacklustre attitude with which this woman was treating us and the food which seemed as though some of it may have been sitting there for half the time the rest was being made.

Stopped for lunch on the way to Ottawa. Ordered the Chala Marsala which was very good. Chef Ram visited our table and recommended his award winning tiramisu

I was stuck wandering town between performances with a group of 5 on a very chilly afternoon when I remembered this place and the great reviews I had seen of it here on google previously when looking for a spot to eat. With about two hours to go before our commitments, we thought we would be left with plenty of time to be in and out for a nice meal.

The food itself could have been good. I chose the vegetable marsala curry, medium, which seemed mostly to be spiced by a heaping scoop of chili flakes on the top. The sauce was lovely, and complemented the rice nicely partly because the rice was very dry, a complaint throughout the party. My boyfriend's haddock had an unchewable dry edge and looked sadly small for the price point of $22, although it sounded promising off the menu. Good words were said about the mango salad and chicken wrap, and comments by two party members that the medium butter chicken was more mild but perhaps because of a higher spice pallete.
