We brought our own snacks and drinks, so we didn't get a chance to try the concessions, but the main building seemed fairly well-maintained and clean. The washrooms were fine (apparently an upgrade from what they used to be, according to my girlfriend).

Having not went to a drive-in movie for quite a few years, I made a last-minute decision with my girlfriend to head over to the Port Elmsley Drive-in on a Thursday evening. The $20 admission was well worth the two films which would have ran us double the price at a Ciniplex or Landmark.

It doesn't get more groovy than pulling up on a Friday night for a classic drive-in movie marathon. I've been coming to the drive in since I was 5 years old, the prices are beyond fair, and the food is exactly what you'd want from a classic drive in theatre. If your in need of something to do on a summer weekend, drive on over to the Port Elmsley drive-in.

On the second last weekend that they were open. I went and saw Stephen King's It the 2017 version. They show the movie on a giant white building and the Stars shine above it as you watch. It's a really great place with a really cool retro snack bar that serves all kinds of goodies. Definitely recommend it if you're looking for something a little bit different than the run-of-the-mill theater experience.

Certainly worth a visit if you have a free evening! I would recommend going on an evening early or late in the summer so the flies won't be too bad! Definitely bring bug spray anyways, though!

Unfortunately the sound quality was lacking - but is to be expected at a nostalgic 'retro-feeling' place like this. Also, one of the movies ended up being a bit of a letdown (I expected better from Christopher Nolan in Dunkirk - just wasn't impressed), and the other was utterly terrible (exactly what I expected from Annabelle 2), but that's certainly not the drive-in's fault!

Such an amazing experience. So much fun to go and watch a movie cozier up in the back of your car. Picture quality is great and the place has that vintage feel -- not at all "run down". Sound quality obviously depends on your car radio so is great is you have good car speakers

So in we went, opened the back of the Jeep and laid down half a dozen pillows to comfortably lay reclined against the back of the seats and watch some movies. Overall, we had a really good experience!

Can't wait to come back. This place reminds me of my childhood. Great food and staff.
